The Harvard Varsity Club, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies on membership dues, donations, event revenue/sponsorships, and endowment distributions to fund its operations and fulfill its mission.

Gifts to the HVC do not receive Harvard College Class/Reunion Credit. All Dues and Donations to the HVC are 100% tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.

HVC General Gift

Contributions to the Harvard Varsity Club will provide supplemental income to annual dues to ensure student-athlete services are fully funded for each fiscal year and provide opportunities for new service development. Gifts to HVC will not receive Harvard College Class/Reunion Credit as this fund sits outside the University. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

The Benson M. Abercrombie '21 Fund

Contributions to The Benson M. Abercrombie '21 Fund provide support to the Abercrombie family and any future Harvard undergraduate student-athlete who incurs a severe or catastrophic injury while competing for the Crimson while enrolled in Harvard College. 100% tax-deductible.

Chester “Chet” E. Stone III Fund

The Chester “Chet” E. Stone III Fund will provide a source of ongoing funding specifically to be used for the employment of Harvard student-athletes at events run by either the Harvard Varsity Club and/or the multitude of Friends of Harvard sports teams (‘Friends”) organizations.

The Michael Vollmer ’90 Fund

Contributions to The Michael Vollmer ’90 Fund are dedicated to supporting, through a grant mechanism, medical and related needs of other Harvard athletes who suffer from ALS or other neurological diseases. 100% tax-deductible.

Senior Letterwinners' Dinner Gift

Contributions to the Senior Letterwinners' Dinner will provide supplemental income in support of the dinner, awards, senior gifts, programs, and the overall success of the event. 100% tax-deductible.

Career Services Gift

Contributions to Career Services ensure student-athletes are supported with career assistance through job postings, employer events, industry nights, and one-on-one meetings while competing for the Crimson, and after graduation. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
