Many believe there hasn’t been a tougher player for Harvard than Chris, who was a three-year starter at sweeper. He back-boned two NCAA semi-final appearances and was an All-America choice as a senior in 1972. A tenacious competitor and an enthusiastic leader, he is probably the finest defensive player Ivy League soccer has ever known and was an All-Ivy selection twice. Chris was the number one draft choice of the New York Cosmos in 1972.
