A two-time First Team All-Ivy tackle who captained Harvard’s first undisputed Ivy championship team in 1975, Dan is among the finest offensive linemen ever to suit up for the Crimson. He was part of an offense that ranked as the most explosive in the modern era of Harvard football, as the Crimson averaged better than 21 points per game in each of his seasons with the varsity. Jiggets was named to the Ivy League’s Silver Anniversary All-Star Football Team in 1981. He was also a standout in the shot, weight, and discus for the Harvard track and field team.
