A member of the 1971 Lightweight Crew team, this group achieved greatness during the spring of ’71 and is described by coach Harry Parker as “arguably the fastest lightweight varsity crew of all time at Harvard or elsewhere.” They won all of their intercollegiate races, including four successive EARC titles. They made the finals of the 1971 IRA Regatta against the country’s finest heavyweight crews, and are the one of the last college lightweight crew to win the Thames Challenge Cup at Henley.
