Harvard Athletic Achievements

One of the famous names of Harvard football, twice All-America, a light and fearless backfield man who combined speed with great gridiron sense to rise to stardom. After starring as a sophomore, he took time out for World War I and returned to score the winning touchdown against Yale in 1919 and go on to Pasadena as a member of Harvard’s only Rose Bowl team. Later coached the varsity team for four years.
