Evans was a four-year letterwinner in women's tennis who was named to the All-Ivy first team for singles in 1984 and 1985. She was also an All-Ivy first team selection for doubles in 1983. 1984, and 1985. ranked as high as No. 3 nationally, she earned All-American honors for singles in 1983 and for both singles and doubles in 1984. Evans was honored as an Ivy League Silver Anniversary Honor Roll selection.
