Harvard Athletic Achievements

Another key member of the standout Crimson teams from the early 70s, Floyd still owns the school record for rebounds in a season. He grabbed 343 in the 1970-71 campaign, when he averaged 13.2 rpg. Floyd, who led all of New England in field goal percentage (52.3 percent) and topped the Crimson in scoring at 17.2 ppg, was chosen First Team All-Ivy that year. He battled through knee injuries in his junior and senior seasons to continue contributing for Harvard, and finished third on the school’s all-time rebounding list with 728 (he currently ranks fifth).
