Leader scorer as a sophomore and junior, he treated the opposition indiscriminately: an 88-yard run from scrimmage against Princeton, an 82-yeard kickoff return against Dartmouth, a 78-yard punt return against Yale. Captained the team as a senior, contributing to a spectacular conclusion in which Army, Brown and Yale were beaten on successive Saturdays and outscored 57 to 13.
