Farneti was a standout linebacker who earned All-Ivy and All-East honors, and was the Crocker Award winner as team MVP as a senior. In 1970, Farneti led the Crimson with 72 tackles and recorded two interceptions. He is considered the best defensive performer of coach John Yovicsisn’s final years.
