A member of the 1967-68 Mens Heavyweight Crews, these crews were the same except for two replacements…They overwhelmed all intercollegiate competitors in 1967: winning trials for Pan Am Games; gold medalist in American games; second in World Championships in Vichy, France…Returned in 1968 to be first and only Harvard varsity eight to win the Olympic trials and, despite altitude sickness, placed 6th in Mexico City Olympics.
