Keith was considered the ultimate team competitor. He remains one of the Crimson’s all-time great distance runners, having won the NCAA Championship and the Millrose meet in the 1000 and the IC4A title in the 880. He captured the 880 title in the Oxford-Cambridge as a freshman. Keith was chosen as the Bingham Award winter in 1970 as Harvard’s outstanding male athlete.
