Harvard Athletic Achievements

Five letters in three sports – two in football and baseball, one in hockey. Although he weighed only 156 pounds, he was a devastating blocker from his quarterback position and a mainstay in the undefeated season of 1910. A broken ankle kept him out of late season games in 1911, but he continued to be an inspiration to the team. In baseball he was a speedy outfielder for two years, and as a forward in hockey he helped the 1910 team defeat Yale. Quick and smart, he was an outstanding performer in all sports.
