Harvard Athletic Achievements

Skilled as a small-boat sailor, he slowly mastered the techniques required for dinghy sailing and by his senior year joined Robbins in bringing Harvard to the fore in national competition. In the New Englands he won the B division by a wide margin, and in the nationals he was the high-point skipper for the Morse trophy. His success heightened Harvard interest in an underpublicized sport that is now very much a part of the fall and spring athletic scene.
