Casey Brinn

Casey Brinn joined the Harvard Varsity Club in September of 2022 following a six-year tenure as a member of Tommy Amaker’s Harvard Basketball coaching staff.

As Director of Men’s Basketball Operations for Harvard, Casey was responsible for myriad critical functions: budgeting, planning, admissions, scheduling, off-court student development initiatives, and relations with University constituents, including the Harvard Varsity Club. During this time, the Crimson captured two Ivy League championships, earned a pair of trips to the NIT where they beat Georgetown in 2019 and developed two Ivy League Rookies of the Year and one Ivy League Player of the Year.

Prior to his arrival in Cambridge, Brinn worked at Northwestern University, for both the Men’s Basketball program and the Dean of the Kellogg School of Management, in addition to Rider University, and the University of Southern Maine in basketball coaching positions. He began his professional career managing the ticket operations area of the New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Baltimore Ravens and Boston Red Sox front offices.

Brinn graduated from Ithaca College in 2008, where he played basketball for two seasons before serving as a student coach as a senior. He received his master’s degree in Sports Administration from Northwestern while he served as a graduate assistant for the Northwestern Men’s Basketball program during Chris Collins’ first two years at the helm. Casey worked with four of the program’s top 20 all-time leading scorers, the all-time leader in assists, the all-time leader in blocked shots, a Big Ten All-Freshman team selection and one First-Team Academic All-American.

While he is not spending time with his wife Eryenne, and sons Kolton and Hawkins, Casey volunteers within the youth basketball programs in Framingham and Wayland and is a board member for the Northwestern Club of Boston.
